Two years later it brought in its first spin-off The Flash and established a shared television universe of superheroes. Since 2014 Arrow and the other shows have done a big crossover mini-series which brings them all together. This year the big cross-over event in 2018 is "Crisis on Infinite Earths". The plot involved Oliver, Barry and the rest of the superheroes traveling to alternate dimensions and encountering different versions of the heroes.
