Well, it's finally happened. The Netflix characters are finally back in the MCU. The streaming service canceled all the Marvel shows back in 2018 and 2019. But, reportedly, a clause in the contract said Marvel couldn't use the characters for two years after the Netflix shows were canceled. It's been exactly two years today that the last Marvel Netflix show Punisher which was canceled on February 18, 2019. So now Marvel can start developing plans for the characters. Now that Phase 4 is officially underway. Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige told The Hollywood Reporter that "Everything is on the board." He added "That's one of the fun things about the comics is that characters would appear and disappear and come and go. All of it is the inspiration for the future.
