Disney Revealed New Dates for BLACK WIDOW, SHANG-CHI and More
The Coronavirus pandemic is causing big changes to the movie industry. There has been talk that some movies would shift from a theatrical release to digital. David Harbour, who plays Red Guardian in Black Widow said he would be fine with a Disney Plus release of the movie. But it turns out Disney has other plans. According to Variety Disney just released big changes to the schedule. Here are the genre-related changes. "Black Widow" was originally supposed to be released over the summer on May 1, 2020, and they announced a delay. It will now open in the winter on Nov. 6, 2020. It's taking the spot that was originally reserved for "The Eternals." "The Eternals" was originally supposed to be released on May 1, 2020, and will now be moved to February 12, 2021. "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" was supposed to have an early release on February 12, 2021. That would have had the symbolic connection to the first day of the Chinese new year...
